Sophia Latysheva / Olof Runsten “Putting the Garden to Sleep”
In the context of Performance Fiction #2 – A series throughout the year
The performance “Putting The Garden to Sleep” by Olof Runsten and Sophia Latysheva is the second part of the series “Performance Fiction” #2: The focus is on the garden as a place for memories, fantasies and fables. To care for a place is to root oneself in it, to have something to lose. Because places are fragile, just like us. In the dissolution of the seasons, time, memories, and places decompose, and the difference between them becomes blurred. One is not sure if the garden is still asleep or already dead.
The performance is in English.
