Rauschen (Noise)
A Performative Installation
In the performative installation “Rauschen (Noise)”, several performers bring rhythmic gymnastics ribbons into continuous oscillation. Driven by the power of electronic music, the ribbons show variations of motion patterns and create lively sculptures in the air: circles, spirals, and waves form an organic structure, that evokes a mesmerizing effect, a kind of hypnosis. “Noise” does not follow a narrative in the conventional sense but rather reveals patterns that are deeply ingrained within us and found everywhere in nature.
