Blinds
A Performative Installation
In “Blinds”, the choreographer Cornelia Böhnisch connects the above and below: Curtain panels are moved up and down by three performers and begin to breathe mechanically. The shadows casts by the folds hint at a life behind things – the unseen and the assumed. The performative installation “Blinds” focusses on the intermediate state of a moving space in which the fragile moments of vulnerability are revealed.
