The Toihaus Theatre is located in the city centre of Salzburg since 1984 and belongs strongly to the local theatre scene from it's very beginning. A specific combination of dance, music and acting is essential for the theatre's artistic style and typical artistic expression of its multicultural ensemble. Productions for adults and for children; almost every piece is an own Toihaus' production
From its beginning the theatre is a production place for the Compagnie. It supports, accompanies and motivates actively young performing artists with their projects.
The Toihaus theatre wants to contribute openly to innovativeness and willingness for venture.

Robert Schumann's cello concerto under a special angle: the angle of bipolarity. On one hand bipolarity as a dysfunction - on the other hand as strength. And music as a possible solution.

Voices, murmur an music - a theater atmosphere reclining within the whole museum. We are attracted through room after room, we are backed off and sended on - the succcessful kooperation between the museum "Residenzgalerie" and the Toihaus Theatre is continued!

PERFORMANCE - WITH DANCING & SINGING
Winter is icy, cold and rough. How do we get rid of it? And what is happening within us at this time? But: „en früjoa duad ma olawäu mei gnia so wee“*!
"Spring 21!" evokes spring feelings within us - with lyrics from H.C. Artmann to Oswald von Wolkenstein. Hoping for sun, flowers and fresh air.
Because we want to be sure that spring is definitely appearing, we perform "SPRING 21" on every 21st of each month!

The ensemble of the Toihaus Theatre were packing their bags - we are on tour over the next months! Additionally to guest performances through Austria, Bavaria and France (e.g. at the theatre festival „Kaolin & Barbotine“ with „To and 'fro“ und „BLUBB!“ we also perform in Japan (with our performance for kindergardens „Suitable - isn't it?!“).
For all people that have to stay at home the Toihaus Theatre will be a meeting place for those off-theatres that do not have a constant venue to perform: At this time we leave the stage für the ensembles „Knalshief“, „ARBOS“ and „Transitheart Productions“. We are looking forward to their performances!
